WRITING WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Dear Writer,
That’s right! If you’re here, you are already a writer. Welcome to Lost Lit! In 2022, we celebrated 10 years of helping writers find their writer’s voice and self-esteem. We offer adult writing workshops using the Amherst Writers & Artists method for general audiences called Get Lit to themed workshops in Grief and Adoption. I can’t wait to meet and write with you soon!

YEAH BUT . . . what exactly happens in a workshop?
Using the Amherst Writers & Artists method, you'll be given a prompt meant to hit one or more of the five senses (taste, touch, sight, sound, smell).
*We’ll write free-style for a timed amount of time (between 7-15min).
*We’ll come back together as a group and voluntarily share our writing aloud.
*We’ll respond and give feedback in only a positive, supportive manner, since everything written is considered raw, fresh and fragile.
*We also treat all writing like fiction, which protects the writer, as well as the writing.
By the end of the night, you’ll walk away with lots of your own writing.
